The Batman Strikes! est une série de bandes dessinées en 50 épisodes publiée mensuellement aux États-Unis entre septembre 2004 et octobre 2008, et inspirée directement de la série The Batman.

Certaines de ces histoires (moins de la moitié) ont été publiées en français dans le Batman Mag depuis sa création en avril 2006 (y compris dans son hors-série estival, le Batman Poche) jusqu'en octobre 2009, au rythme d'une histoire par magazine.

Une publication intégrale en bande dessinées semblait prévue par Panini, qui a lancé en février 2010 une nouvelle collection intitulée Batman : Les Aventures. Panini a depuis perdu les droits d'exploitation sur les comics DC, au profit de Dargaud.

01. Penguin Rising
Le Pingouin vole une antiquité égyptienne qui pourrait révéler le secret de Bruce Wayne et détruire une vaste portion de Gotham City.

02. City of Bats
Batman affronte un Man-Bat devenu capable de transformer les citoyens de Gotham City à son image.

03. Outlaw and Disorder
Des criminels se font attraper, puis disparaissent. Ou quand le Joker joue au policier…

04. Without a Chance
Batman se mesure à un adversaire deux fois plus grand et rusé comme dix hommes : Bane.

05. Deadly Partner
Scarface et le Ventriloque attachent une marionnette bourrée d'explosifs au bras de Batman. Le héros pourra-t-il s'en sortir sans détruire sa ville ?

06. The Cat's Prize
De précieux diamants sont volés à Gotham City, et la police suit la piste Catwoman. La sachant innocente, Batman tente de stopper les forces de l'ordre avant de trouver le vrai coupable.

07. Icestorm
Mister Freeze veut s'emparer d'un bout de Gotham City. Seules l'astuce et la technologie de Batman pourront l'en empêcher.

08. Firefall
D'anciens employés de Bruce Wayne qu'il a aidés à ouvrir une boutique sont victimes de racket des hommes de Rupert Thorne. Batman se mêle de l'histoire qui va l'entrainer vers un nouveau face-à-face avec Firefly.

09. Sanity Plea
Le Joker clame être sain. À Batman d'en découvrir la cause avant que le célèbre interné d'Arkham ne soit libre à jamais !

10. Illumination
Des étudiants ont la mauvaise idée de s'aventurer dans l'asile d'Arkham, une nuit où Man-Bat s'évade.

11. Man of Service
Un oiseau du Pingouin vient de blesser Batman, mais Alfred entend faire plus que soigner les plaies…

12. Break in at Gotham Central
Durant une assemblée secrète, le scientifique ayant créé Bane propose au plus offrant de lui produire une armée d'hommes surpuissants et contrôlables.

13. Prowler
Batman recherche Catwoman suite à une série de cambriolages. Mais malgré le mode opératoire similaire au sien, la voleuse experte clame son innocence.

14. Sands of Time
Batman, Catwoman et Ellen Yin se démènent tant bien que mal face aux attaques d'un Clayface plus redoutable et déterminé que jamais, mais dont les motivations restent encore obscures.

15. The Lost Ones
Dracula en personne débarque à Gotham City afin d'imposer ses plans pour la ville !

16. Hit and Run
Batman a la désagréable surprise de croiser le Joker à bord de sa… Batmobile !

17. A Question of Identity
L'Homme Mystère et ses sbires forcent une base miliaire pour s'emparer d'une technologie de pointe.

Numéros spéciaux

Un "numéro spécial" a vu le jour. S'il n'appartient pas formellement à la série The Batman Strikes! (TBS), il y est néanmoins régulièrement rattaché, dès lors qu'il constitue une bande dessinée de la série The Batman.

Il s'agit en réalité de deux épisodes racontés sous forme de captures d'écrans auxquelles sont intégrés les dialogues issus des scripts originaux.
