Quelques remarques :
- L'asile d'Arkham est apparu dans Batman #258 (numéro d'octobre 1974), écrit par Dennis O'Neil et dessiné par Irv Novick. Dans cette histoire, il est nommé « hôpital d'Arkham » sans précisions sur sa nature, et n'est pas encore près de Gotham City. Le terme d' « asile d'Arkham » vient l'année suivante, dans une aventure du même scénariste. Mais ce n'est qu'à partir de 1979 que ce nom remplace définitivement l'original et l'occasionnel « sanitarium d'Arkham » et que l'institut se rapproche de la ville de Batman.
- Notons que Libra, personnage apparu dans le comic Justice League of America #111, n'a pas encore connu d'adaptation animée, mais partage quelques particularités avec Equinox (image), de la série animée Batman : L'Alliance des Héros.
